d-Copia 5001MF and 6001MF come with the most advanced solutions for data safeguarding and protection as standard, including Common Criteria certification according to ISO/IEC 15408 EAL2 standards, which provides data encryption stored in memory, as well as subsequent deletion with multiple overwriting. 

The task of generating the keys for data encryption is entrusted to the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip, which stores them within a reserved memory location. The entire operation of the machine is constantly monitored thanks to the adoption of the SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) architecture with the aim of promptly detecting anomalies that could compromise operational security. d-Copia 5001MF and 6001MF also feature firmware integrity controls active both at startup (Secure Boot) and during use (Run Time).

Compatibility with the IEEE 2600.1 standard introduces protection measures involving the entire equipment regarding access password management policies.

The d-Copia 5001MF and 6001MF feature a very wide range of options, including the new DP-7130 single-pass document feeder capable of scanning up to 220 images per minute, equipped with an ultrasonic sensor to detect the presence of stacked sheets.
The new DF-7130 finisher has an overall capacity of 4,200 sheets, and is capable of stapling up to 100 A4 sheets or 50 A3 sheets in 3 positions. With the addition of the BF-9100 saddle-stitch and stapling unit, it is possible to create booklets of up to 80 pages, or brochures with triple folding.

d-Copia 5001MF and 6001MF are equipped with refined technology that allows them to handle a wide range of formats from A6 to SRA3, with weights ranging from 52 to 300 g/m2 for simplex printing, and from 64 to 256 g/m2 for duplex printing.

Furthermore, DL and C5 envelopes can now also be fed directly from Tray 1. d-Copia 5001MF and 6001MF adopt technological solutions expressly designed to enhance reliability, increase quality, and contain energy consumption. To achieve this, the QorlQ T1024 Dual Core controller was adopted, which together with a new ASIC unit has enabled a 20% gain in efficiency, with tangible benefits particularly for printing PDF formats. The 8 GB SSD is dedicated exclusively to the Operating System, leaving the use of the 320 GB Hard Disk exclusively for job data. The user is always at the center of attention, thanks to the new 10.1" touchscreen operator panel that is intuitive and easy to use.
